Yes. If another player attacks you and you don't have a shield, you lose all your coins from that session. Only buy in with what you're comfortable losing.
Shields cost $1 each and protect you from attacks for 10 minutes. You can buy up to 3 shields per 24-hour period. When active, any incoming attack is blocked.
If you have an active shield, the attack is blocked. If you don't, you're eliminated and the attacker takes all your coins. You can buy in again to keep playing.
You need to be within 0.25 miles (about 400 meters) of another player to attack them.
No. You can only attack players who have equal or fewer coins than you. This means higher-tier players can't just steamroll lower-tier ones. You need to be strategic about who you target.
Bots are AI-controlled players that roam the map. They move around and can be attacked. Attacking a bot costs one of your shield charges.
Absolutely not. The player agreement explicitly prohibits using CoinProwl while operating any vehicle. Always play safely on foot and be aware of your surroundings.
There are 25 tiers from $1 (Copper) to $25 (Diamond). Higher tiers mean more coins in play. Each tier has a unique name and color visible to other players on the map.
Other players can see your approximate position on the map while you have an active session. Your exact address is never shared. When you don't have an active session, you're not visible on the map.
Yes, as long as your phone has GPS signal. The game works anywhere your phone can get a location fix.
Your session stays active on the server. When you reopen the app, you'll reconnect to your existing session. However, you're still visible on the map and can be attacked while disconnected.
The cash-out feature processes your earnings directly to your wallet. Your balance is tracked in real time within the app.
